Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Finlytix mobile application ("the app", "we", "our"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Finlytix, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Finlytix is a personal finance tracking app that allows you to:

• Track asset holdings and net worth
• Monitor live market prices (metals, currencies, oil, Egypt gold)
• Track recurring subscriptions
• Set price alerts (premium feature)
• Calculate gold values
• Sync data across devices via iCloud

3. Account

You sign in using Apple's Sign in with Apple service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

4. Financial Information Disclaimer

Finlytix is an informational tool only. It is not financial advice.

• Market prices are sourced from third-party APIs and may be delayed or inaccurate
• Gold prices in Egypt are based on Egypt Sagha prices and may differ from actual dealer prices
• International commodity prices are sourced from public market data
• Currency exchange rates are indicative and may differ from rates offered by banks or dealers
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data
• You should not make financial decisions based solely on information provided by this app
• Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Finlytix offers optional premium features through auto-renewable in-app subscriptions:

• Finlytix Plus (Monthly / Yearly): Ad-free experience, expanded tracking limits, up to 5 market alerts and 25 watchlist items, weekly Financial Status checks, 2 PDF reports per month, 100 Finny AI replies per day, multi-currency wallets, all notifications, and CSV export.
• Finlytix Pro (Monthly / Yearly): Everything in Plus, plus unlimited tracking, unlimited market alerts and watchlist, unlimited Financial Status and PDF reports, unlimited Finny AI, home-screen widgets (subscription calendar, upcoming renewals, subscriptions list, starred watchlist, Egypt gold), all-time CSV export, and the Pro badge & achievements.
• Finlytix V: A one-time non-consumable in-app purchase that grants lifetime access. Does not auto-renew.

Free users have access to basic portfolio tracking, 1 market alert, and an ad-supported experience.

Subscription Terms

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.
• When you cancel a subscription, you will retain access to premium features until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free tier.

End-User License Agreement (EULA)

Your use of Finlytix is subject to Apple's standard End-User License Agreement (EULA) for licensed applications, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA shall prevail with respect to matters covered therein.

7. Advertising

The free version of Finlytix displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Ads are not shown to Plus or Pro subscribers. Ad content is filtered to general audiences only.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Interfere with the app's servers or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape market data from the app

9. Intellectual Property

Finlytix, including its design, code, icons, and content, is the intellectual property of Finlytix. All rights reserved. Market data is provided by third-party sources and is subject to their respective terms.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Financial data you enter (holdings, subscriptions) is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple iCloud. We do not access your financial data on our servers.

11. Availability and Updates

• We may update, modify, or discontinue the app at any time without notice
• Certain features require an internet connection and may be unavailable during outages
• We may enforce minimum version requirements for continued use
• Market data availability depends on third-party API providers

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from use of the app or reliance on its data
• We are not liable for inaccuracies in market prices, exchange rates, or gold prices
• We are not liable for data loss, including loss of holdings or subscription records
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for premium features in the last 12 months

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Finlytix from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device and deleting your account via Settings.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with those laws.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
